Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for a few years. Then she moved to TV and film. In 1992 Anna got her first major character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn has also appeared on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast set in 2022. The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final years of life.
